Rachel's dedication to the well-being of animals goes above and beyond. Her passion for pets is evident in every aspect of her work, and she takes pride in providing top-notch care to both dogs and cats. She is also certified in pet first aid and CPR. Rachel's genuine love for animals makes her an invaluable asset to Tails of Joy, ensuring that every pet receives the exceptional care they deserve under her skilled hands.

Meet Carlie, a dedicated groomer who joined the Tails of Joy family in May of 2024. She graduated from the Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology in April of 2024. Carlie has a huge heart for animals and a keen eye for creative grooming, particularly when it comes to hair dye. She's excited to bring her unique, artistic touch to your furry friends. Known for her calm demeanor and attention to detail, Carlie takes the time to ensure each pet feels comfortable and cared for throughout the grooming process. She is especially passionate about building trust with nervous or first-time clients, making grooming a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. At home, Carlie's pet family includes her cat Samantha, her dog Sophie, two catfish, two shrimp, and a snail.

Sarah, Rachel Zimmerman - Balogh's sister and the owner of Tails of Joy Pet Grooming, is a dedicated professional with a passion for attention to detail, numbers, and building lasting relationships with clients and students. With 15 years of experience as a teacher, she brings her commitment to education and nurturing connections into her pet grooming business. Growing up with dogs and cats as cherished companions, Sarah currently shares her home with her playful, orange cat named Peaches and hosts St. Johns Middle School's facility dog, Teddy. Her love for animals is evident not only in her personal life but also in the exceptional care that is provided at Tails of Joy Pet Grooming.
